Week 2 bible reading.

Week 1 of the 3rd Quarter: Students: You must blog several (5) sentences for each day's Bible reading for full credit! Use a separate post for each day. Title each blog day (i.e. Week 5/Monday) Then tell about the Bible story (characters,events, etc.) and answer the application question:

Mon. 1 Samuel 25: 1-42 David and Abigail
How does God keep you from making big mistakes?
Samuel has died. Everybody is mourning. They buried him at his home in Ramah. And David has moved down to the desert of Paran. Nabal was a very wealthy man. He own sheep and goats and he had a wife named Abigail. And she was a very pretty woman.
Tues. 1 Samuel 28: 1-25 Saul and the Occult
What kinds of things could be considered “occult practices”?
How would God feel about your involvement in such things?
Saul expelled the spiritists andthe mediums from the land. Saul disguised himself and went to endor. He found a medium woman and questioned her.
Wed. 2 Samuel 5: 1-12 David Is King Over Israel
How could you become a person who is more pleasing to God, as David was?

Thurs. 2 Samuel 9: 1-13 The King’s Kindness
What promises need to be kept in your life?

Fri. 2 Samuel 11: 1-27 David and Bathsheba
When is it hard for you to admit fault?
